In 2012, Dixon scored two wins on his way to a third-place finish in the overall standings. Dixon finished the 2012 season with the most laps led (456).

2013 marks Dixon’s 12th year with Target Chip Ganassi Racing – the longest tenure for a driver in team history (1990-Present).  With his victory at Mid-Ohio last season, Dixon tied Rick Mears for 10th place on the all-time Indy Car wins list (1909-Present) with 29 victories.

The New Zealand native has 201 starts between the CART and IZOD IndyCar Series, producing 29 wins, 18 poles, 98 top-five and 140 top-10 finishes (2001-Present).
