The Right Mindset Drives Success

Dario Franchitti, at age 37, is a two-time IndyCar Series Champion, and he’s going for his third championship title. He’s just twelve points behind Will Power, who is currently number one in the IZOD IndyCar Series. And there’s just one race to go this season.
“I think if you ask my wife, Ashley Judd, she would tell you that racing is my life. I want to be successful at it,” says Franchitti. “I’m always thinking about how I’m going to improve it, how I’m going to make my car better, what mistakes I made, how I can improve myself, in order to be successful in this business you have to focus and I am pretty intense about my racing.”
His success and his mindset is why I chose to feature Franchitti in Forbes’ weekly “Driven” series, which focuses on the most successful celebrities and entrepreneurs.
