• Dixon will be making his ninth career start at Kentucky Speedway this weekend. In his previous eight races in Sparta, he has one victory (2008), four podiums, four top-fives, six top-10s and two poles (2008, 2009).
• Franchitti has made six career starts at Kentucky. In those six starts in the “Bluegrass State”, Franchitti has one top-five, five top-10s and has started inside the top-10 five times.
Dario Franchitti: “Balance-wise we did a good job. We made a mistake and had to change the engine before qualifying. The Target guys did a great job changing the engine between sessions under pressure. We just didn't have the speed we did in the first session."
Scott Dixon: "Dario was a little rushed in his run after the engine change and we were really good in race trim. Straight-line speed might be challenging for us but we're still in the championship hunt and focused on doing all we can to keep the Target car in it."
