NOTES
• This is the sixth straight race Franchitti will start from the front row.
• Dixon made it a clean sweep in last year’s Mid-Ohio race, starting from the pole and leading 50 laps en route to victory, with Franchitti finishing second. Since becoming teammates, Franchitti and Dixon have earned 16 double podiums, with half of those resulting in a victory for Team Target
• Team Target drivers have won seven of 18 races at Mid-Ohio, or 39 percent. Of a possible 1,537 laps, TCGR has led 330 laps, or 21.4 percent.

Dario Franchitti: “We got everything we could out of the GE car. I thought I did a good lap. Good enough obviously. We beat Will’s time there. That’s the sixth front row start in a row so hopefully we can turn it into a result tomorrow. Qualifying has been the relatively easy part so hopefully we can have a good race tomorrow.”
Scott Dixon: “The car was good. Having to run Q3 on the same set of tires they were pretty much gone already. We tried to make a few changes, but the front tires were worn. I think we have something in the back pocket, which will be good for our starting spot.”
