The two-time IZOD IndyCar Series Champion (2003, 2008) and 2008 Indianapolis 500 Winner will contest the 2010 race season alongside two-time and reigning Champion and 2007 Indianapolis 500 Winner Dario Franchitti, after a one-two sweep of the point standings in 2009.

In 2009, Dixon matched teammate Franchitti with a series-best five wins and two pole positions on his way to a runner-up finish in the Championship.

2010 will be his ninth year with Target Chip Ganassi Racing – the longest tenure for a driver in team history (1990-present).

The New Zealand native has 152 starts between the CART and IndyCar Series, producing 22 wins, 17 poles, 69 top-5 finishes, and 104 top-10 finishes (2001-Present).
