Bourdais will return to Chip Ganassi Racing for his third season racing alongside Renger van der Zande in the IMSA series. Bourdais helped propel the No. 01 team to a win at Laguna Seca in 2023, while also earning podiums at Daytona and Road Atlanta.

The Le Mans, France, native won IMSA’s Motul Pole Award in 2022 after emerging as the top qualifier in four races across the season.

Bourdais previously served within CGR’s GT Le Mans (GTLM) program from 2016-19, which included a historic class victory at the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans and a win at the 2017 24 Hours of Daytona.

Bourdais, who made over 200 starts throughout his INDYCAR SERIES career, remains the only driver in series history to have won four consecutive championships (2004-07). He holds the seventh-most victories (37) and pole positions (34) in INDYCAR SERIES history.
