Sebastien Bourdais, a four-time INDYCAR championship driver, returns to Chip Ganassi Racing with the Cadillac program for his second season in the IMSA series.
Bourdais won the Motul Pole Award in 2022 after emerging as the top qualifier in four separate races (Sebring; Long Beach; Mid-Ohio; Belle Isle). Bourdais also helped propel the No. 01 team to three race wins (Long Beach; Belle Isle; CTMP) and five podiums on the year.
Bourdais served within CGR’s GT Le Mans (GTLM) program from 2016-19, which included a historic class victory at the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans and a win at the 2017 24 Hours of Daytona.
The native of Le Mans, France, recorded over 200 starts throughout his INDYCAR SERIES career and remains the only driver to win four consecutive series championships (2004-07). Bourdais ranks 7th on both the wins (37) and pole positions (34) all-time series leaderboards.
