Kyffin Simpson

Driver, Chip Ganassi Racing

An emerging talent in the sport, Kyffin Simpson will enter his third NTT INDYCAR SERIES season with Chip Ganassi Racing in 2026. One of the youngest drivers on the grid, the 21-year-old scored his first career podium, three top-5s and six top-10s in his sophomore 2025 season.

Through 2025, Simpson completed two full INDYCAR seasons before his 21st birthday – which is more starts than Chip Ganassi Racing champions Scott Dixon, Alex Palou, Jimmy Vasser or Alex Zanardi had by their 21st birthdays.

In his rookie season, Simpson set the fastest lap of the race in his first career INDYCAR start at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg in Florida and led laps in his maiden Indianapolis 500.

Simpson, who joined Chip Ganassi Racing as a development driver in May of 2022, competed in the INDY NXT by Firestone series in 2022 and 2023. He scored two podiums in 2023 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.

Racing in sports car competition this year, Simpson has captured victories at IMSA’s Twelve Hours of Sebring race (LMP2 class victory; P3 overall), European Le Mans Series’ 4 Hours of Le Castellet (LMP2 class victory; overall victory) and the Asian Le Mans Series’ 4 Hours of Dubai race (LMP2 class; overall victory).

Simpson won the 2021 Formula Regional Americas Championship after earning seven wins, two pole positions and 13 total podiums.
