Kyffin Simpson, 18, from the Cayman Islands, is a member of Chip Ganassi Racing’s Driver Development Program.

Simpson competes in multiple racing series across the globe including the INDY NXT by Firestone series with HMD Motorsports, the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup, Asian Le Mans Series and European Le Mans Series (LMP2).

Simpson began kart racing at nine years old in Barbados, winning his first championship the same year. He continued to achieve success with multiple kart titles in the Caribbean and United States, before advancing to score two podium finishes at his first-ever car racing event in 2020 (YACademy Winter Series).

2021 was Simpson’s most successful year to date. Simpson dominated the 2021 FR Americas Championship Powered by Honda season, beginning with a clean sweep of three wins in the opening round. Simpson scored a total of seven wins and 13 podium finishes, only finishing outside of the top five in two races. Simpson was a member of Honda Performance Development’s HPD GT3 Driver Academy.

In 2022, Simpson paired a debut season in INDY NXT with a successful IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup campaign, culminating in a historic last-to-first victory in the 25th Petit Le Mans at the wheel of an Acura NXT GT3 Evo22. More recently, Simpson won the 2023 Twelve Hours of Sebring (LMP2).
