Alex Lynn is in his first season with Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR) and co-drives the No. 02 Cadillac Performance Academy Cadillac DPi-V.R.
Lynn co-drove a Cadillac DPi to victory in the 2017 Twelve Hours of Sebring among notable wins in a versatile racing career, including a class win at 24 Hours of Le Mans as a GTE factory driver.
The native of the United Kingdom has extensive Formula E experience, was a Formula One development driver, competed in the GP2 Series and has raced in numerous European sports car series. He was the GP3 Series champion in 2014 and the British Formula Renault champion in 2010 and 2011. Lynn was named 2011 British Club Driver of the Year at the Autosport Awards after his record 12 wins in 20 races.
