PNC Bank, Chip Ganassi Racing Unveil 2025 Livery for Six-Time INDYCAR SERIES Champion Scott Dixon

INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 5, 2025) – PNC Bank and Chip Ganassi Racing have unveiled a new livery for the No. 9 Honda driven by six-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion Scott Dixon. The updated look reflects PNC Bank’s brand, while continuing to feature the orange, blue and white colors Dixon fans have grown to associate with him since 2018.

Dixon is on track for a historic INDYCAR season in 2025. Already the record holder for most podiums with 142 and second to only A.J. Foyt with 58 career wins (Foyt – 67) and six championships (Foyt – seven), Dixon is also on track to break Mario Andretti’s all-time starts record with his 407th INDYCAR start at the 109th Running of the Indianapolis 500 this May. 2025 will be Dixon’s 25th consecutive year competing in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, and 24th with CGR.

Notes of Interest:

Banking on Success: Longtime partner PNC Bank became a primary sponsor of CGR’s No. 9 Honda driven by Dixon in 2018. Since then, Dixon has scored two championships, 17 race wins and 46 podiums with PNC Bank.

Community Support: PNC Bank is driven to support the next generation through PNC Grow Up Great, its signature philanthropic initiative focused on improving high-quality early childhood education across the country. Dixon will again appear at early childhood education centers to demonstrate the importance of reading to inspire a love of learning.

o PNC Bank’s Day at the Track program will again provide STEM students with the opportunity to get a close-up look at the high-performance operations of CGR’s NTT INDYCAR SERIES team in 2025.

One Team, One Goal: Already one of the greats, Dixon will attempt to build on his already legendary resume this season. Two victories last season continued a streak of 20 consecutive years with a win, the longest streak in major motorsports history. Together, CGR will attempt to extend that streak in 2025 and score the team’s sixth championship in the last eight years, its 17th INDYCAR championship, which would tie it for most all-time.

Scott Dixon, Driver, No. 9 PNC Bank CGR Honda: “I’m excited. It was a long off-season. We definitely have some big areas and some low-hanging fruit where I think we can make some big shifts and some big changes for a positive effect for the No. 9 PNC Bank Honda. I’m looking forward to that.”

Mike Hull, Strategist, No. 9 PNC Bank Honda, Chip Ganassi Racing: “Being shoulder-to-shoulder in an INDYCAR partnership with PNC has been extraordinary because the things that make them a great bank are also what makes Scott and the team so consistent. They all do the little things brilliantly which is why the partnership with PNC is so perfect. We are happy to return with the orange and blue once again of PNC Bank on the No. 9.”
