Honda Racing Corporation Partners with Chip Ganassi Racing on the No. 10 Honda at Detroit
INDYCAR
INDIANAPOLIS (May 27, 2026) –
Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) will partner with Chip Ganassi Racing and the
No. 10 Honda driven by reigning and four-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion Alex
Palou at this weekend’s Detroit Grand Prix.
The announcement continues a
longstanding partnership between Honda and Chip Ganassi Racing. In 22 seasons
and 1,030 starts with Honda, Chip Ganassi Racing has won 124 INDYCAR races and
placed on the podium 302 times. In
addition, the team has 15 INDYCAR championships and five Indianapolis 500
victories with Honda on the car and legendary drivers behind the wheel.

On Top with HRC: Driving
Chip Ganassi Racing’s Honda-powered INDYCAR entries, Palou and Scott Dixon,
driver of the No. 9 PNC Bank Honda, have combined to win six of the last eight
INDYCAR championships and the 2025 Indianapolis 500. That includes three
consecutive titles by Palou, who leads the championship after seven races in
2026.

Leading the Pack: Last
season, Palou led 81 laps from pole to win in the No. 10 HRC Honda at the
Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix. This season, Chip Ganassi Racing and
Honda have won three races together. Palou won the Firestone Grand Prix of St.
Petersburg, the Children's of Alabama Indy Grand Prix, and the Acura Grand Prix
of Long Beach. Palou and the No. 10 team won pole position for last weekend’s
Indianapolis 500, Honda’s first pole for the race in three years.
