ARLINGTON, Texas (March 10, 2026) — The National Medal of Honor Museum (NMOHM) will feature on the livery of Chip Ganassi Racing’s No. 11 INDY NXT by Firestone entry, driven by rookie Carson Etter, at the Grand Prix of Arlington. Additionally, Etter and the team will participate in a powerful leadership discussion titled “Trust Under Pressure: Leadership in Small Teams” on Thursday, Mar. 12, 2026, at the National Medal of Honor Museum adjacent to the track in Arlington, Texas.
The livery is a partnership between Chip Ganassi Racing, the Museum and Etter. Located just across from the backstretch of the circuit for the Arlington race, the team is honored to highlight the efforts of the NMOHM to preserve and tell the stories of our nation’s heroes.
The Thursday evening discussion will feature Medal of Honor Recipient Sal Giunta, retired Navy SEAL and current Team Manager for Chip Ganassi Racing Dave Berkenfield, and Etter, who will be contesting his second career INDY NXT race on Sunday. Together, the panelists will share insights on building trust, leading small teams under pressure, and executing with precision when the stakes are highest.
Notes of Interest:
• Honoring Our Nation’s Heroes: The National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington, Texas preserves and shares the stories of Medal of Honor Recipients—ordinary Americans who took extraordinary action in the service of others. Through immersive exhibits and educational programs, the Museum connects visitors with the values of courage, integrity, commitment, sacrifice, patriotism, and citizenship that the Medal represents. Its mission is to inspire America by sharing these true stories.
• Etter Debuts in Arlington: Etter will make his second career start in INDY NXT this weekend at the Grand Prix of Arlington. Etter is part of an expanded four-car INDY NXT lineup for Chip Ganassi Racing in 2026. Last year, the team returned to the NXT grid for the first time since 2007, earning multiple top-5 finishes and gathering valuable data as the team builds up its program for the future.

• Cory Crowley, Executive Vice President, National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation: “Supporting the Museum means helping preserve and share the stories of Medal of Honor Recipients and the values their service represents. Chip Ganassi Racing’s donation of Carson Etter’s full livery is a meaningful way to honor the brave men and women who have sacrificed for our nation. By carrying the Museum onto the track, Carson is helping introduce our mission to racing fans in Arlington, throughout Texas and across the country. It’s a great reminder that honoring service isn’t limited to museum walls. It’s something all of us can take part in every day. We’re grateful to Carson and the entire Chip Ganassi Racing team for making this possible.”
• David Berkenfield, retired Navy SEAL, Team Manager, Chip Ganassi Racing: “High-performance teams, whether serving our country or in the pits at an INDYCAR race, depend on trust, preparation, and decisive leadership. We are honored to join Sal Giunta and the National Medal of Honor Museum to share these lessons and celebrate the values that unite our country.”
• Carson Etter, Driver, No. 11 National Medal of Honor Museum car, Chip Ganassi Racing: “It is an honor to raise awareness for the important work going on at the National Medal of Honor Museum and to take part in a panel with such amazing individuals. I am learning a lot in my first INDY NXT season, but it pales in comparison with the sacrifices, stories and lessons we can learn from Medal of Honor recipients. On track, I know the team is working hard to represent them well this weekend in Arlington.”
